THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGYOUR ACCESS CARD

At arrival, you’ll find our self-checking machine that is going to help you getting your access card. It will also expedite a ticket with all your booking and stay details. That card is necessary for:
  • Opening the main door.
  • Opening your room door.
  • Locking and unlocking your personal locker.
  • All room services including plugs, UBS sockets, reading lamp, air conditioning and heating.

In case of losing your card, the ticket you got after the check-in has a code. Please go to our self-checking machine, choose option “+ Duplicate” and enter the code. You’ll receive a new access card immediately. Please be noted that once issued a new card, the old one will be disabled.

If you need some additional assistance you can always find our staff in the common room or call us by the intercom placed close to the entrance.

HOW TO OPEN AND CLOSEYOUR LOCKER

You should keep all your belongings in your personal locker. It has the same number than your bed. The opening and closing system works with the access card so it’s necessary to check if your locker is closed before leaving the room. You must tap the sensor with the card and listen a little sound.

Please remember that Petit Hostel is not responsible for your belongings.

FREE LINENAND TOWEL

You’ll find your linen and a fresh towel at the time of opening your locker. You can use it for free during your whole stay. In case you are at Petit Hostel for several days, our housekeeping team will change your kit regularly. If you prefer to refuse that change, just let us know.

In case you need new towels or sheets, don’t hesitate and tell us. Remember we are at the common room during working hours, but also 24 hours available through the intercom ar the entrance.
Each additional towel or sheet may incur in a € 5.00 charge.

HOW TO TURN ONTHE SERVICES OF YOUR BED

All our bunk beds have a reading lamp, 2 plugs and 2 USB connectors for each guest. If you want to use them you have to introduce your keycard on the white card holder you’ll find on the wall next to your bed. Once the light turns green, you’ll can use all those services.

TURNING ON-OFFTHE AIR CONDITIONING

At Petit Hostel you don’t have to worry about that. Our intelligent air coinditioning system is programed to maintain the comfort temperature inside the accommodation (it doesn’t matter if it’s summer or winter). We assure you that you are not going to be hot or cold during your stay.

For turning on this system you just have to introduce your keycard inside the white card holder of your bed. If all the card holders are empty in the room, the heating and air conditioning will be in energy save mode.

HOW THE LIGHTSWORK

All the Petit Hostel dorms have a switch at the entrance that allows you to activate the “day mode” and the “night mode”:
  • The day mode keeps the light on if it’s not enough with the natural light.
  • The night mode keeps the light off but if someone has to go to the restroom or has to go to the common room meanwhile the roomies are sleeping, a little beacon turns on for not disturbing the rest of the people.

WHAT ABOUTLAUNDRY?

In case you need to wash your clothes during your stay, just reach our team in the common room or through the intercom you’ll find at the entrance. We’ll inform you about our laundry services and rates. Don’t be shy, it’s easier than expected!

FREEWI-FI

What would you think about us if we didn’t share our superspeed Wi-Fi with our guests? We know you want to post your experiences and share pictures with family and friends when you are in Madrid. Furthermore you’ll need to know how to arrive to the trendiest restaurants in town or posting your review about our hostel (we enjoy reading your lovely comments). You’ll find the Wi-Fi password on the ticket you got when checking in. Also you can find it in the common room, next to the computer desk. Keep the password on your phone once you step in our hostel!

HUNGRY?NOT IN PETIT HOSTEL

We know very well that hunger can appear at any time. That’s why you can find two vending machines to solve it whenever you need! One of them it’s a coffee and hot drinks machine and the other have all kind of snacks like sandwiches, donuts or chips. Don’t try to resist!

HOW TO IMPROVEYOUR STAY IN MADRID

At Petit Hostel we are convinced that we can make you to love Madrid as much or even more than we do. For this reason we have printed a super complete free map of Madrid that you’ll find in the common room. Now you don’t have any excuse for visiting every main tourist attraction in the city! Furthermore we can assist you in hiring the most exciting activities and excursions in town. For instance, we’ve got tickets for the Santiago Bernabéu tour or Madrid City Bus, free tours in Madrid, pub crawls or visits to Toledo, Ávila and Segovia. Don’t hesitate to ask our team when you need some help or advise for visiting Madrid. They know perfectly how to rock your stay. We are waiting for you!
